Molequle has been completely redesigned with a strong emphasis on increased flexibility. This redesign extends to various aspects, including the data model, data processing and display from external systems like Marketo, and data analysis methods.
The sales intelligence extension for Molequle was developed with OneInsight in mind. However, thanks to Molequle's vastly improved flexibility, it works in a much more dynamic manner. We are also expanding upon the existing functionality of the sales intelligence application to make it fully customisable. This way, it can be tailored precisely to meet the specific needs and requirements of your sales representatives and business development teams.
Data Model
OneInsight was originally built as an extension of Marketo, resulting in a data model closely aligned with Marketo. While this enabled comprehensive insights into Marketo's data for sales reps and business development teams, it also limited OneInsight's ability to display and analyse data beyond what Marketo provided.
Molequle offers a highly flexible and fully customisable data model. This allows Molequle to connect with not only Marketo but also other systems. Leveraging the insights gained from OneInsight, we initially focused on integrating with Marketo but are currently in the process of integrating additional systems.
While OneInsight primarily retrieved and displayed data from external systems, Molequle takes it a step further by processing and unifying this data according to your business requirements. This unification enables Molequle to consolidate data from potentially any system, creating a single source of truth.
Extensions
Molequle's API serves as the foundation for its current extensions, and there are even more planned for the future. Unlike OneInsight, Molequle's API is accessible to anyone with the necessary access and permissions, providing your organization with the opportunity to build upon and enhance Molequle. This opens up possibilities for creating custom interactive extensions or integrating your internal systems into Molequle, whether they are interactive or non-interactive in nature.
Thanks to the enhanced flexibility of Molequle's API, the sales intelligence extension, which can be considered the successor to OneInsight, has already seen significant functional improvements, with more to come in future releases:
In Molequle, sales reps now have the ability to create their own segments, customize views, and apply filters based on their specific needs. They can also share these customized views with the organization. Future versions of Molequle will offer even greater flexibility in filtering and customising views, extending these improvements to campaigns as well.
Molequle's data model adds accounts as an integral part, enabling a consolidated view of engagement across all individuals associated with a particular account. This capability will soon be expanded to other entities, such as campaigns, as well.
While OneInsight didn't offer any flexibility what activity types were shown or how they were grouped, Molequle offers more flexibility. It can show any activity type, including custom activities in Marketo, and allows you to choose how these different activity types are grouped. With the addition of further extensions and Molequle's ability to connect with systems beyond Marketo, additional activities from other systems can also be shown to sales reps and business development teams in your organisation.
Like OneInsight, Molequle allows you to trigger smart campaigns in Marketo. In OneInsight, these actions were referred to as campaigns and were restricted to Marketo smart campaigns. Molequle provides the same functionality, along with additional actions such as the ability to send emails via SendGrid. More types of actions are already planned, offering your organisation even better ways to engage with individuals or accounts within Molequle.
Molequle aims to provide your organisation with a simple and secure way to utilise your existing user management system, such as ADFS or Azure AD, for accessing the platform. Using the SAML protocol, you could connect your identity provider to OneInsight. Molequle retains this functionality while offering even more ways to connect identity providers. This includes support for different types of identity providers, automated certificate rotation, the ability to connect multiple identity providers, among other improvements. Molequle has also enhanced multi-factor authentication by allowing additional secondary factors, such as device biometrics, TOTP, hardware keys, and more.
Scoring
Molequle's predictive scoring model harnesses the vast amount of available data to analyse and score your leads. Unlike OneInsight, which relied on a manual and additive scoring model built within Marketo, Molequle's scoring model doesn't make assumptions about your data. Instead, it learns from the available data by analysing closed marketing opportunities, the history of lead status changes, and lead activities such as participation in marketing campaigns.
