β
Changing the Marketo extension credentials
If the API user in Marketo changes, you can change the credentials in the "Settings" section in the Marketo Extension.
Once all the settings are properly entered, Molequle will retrieve the relevant data from Marketo using these credentials.
Configuring attribute mapping
You will only see the default mapping once the initial sync is complete. The time required for this process depends on the size of your Marketo instance and may take several hours or even days.
To adjust the default mapping of Marketo fields and Molequle attributes, navigate to the "Mapping" section of the Marketo extension. Here, you can customise the mapping of fields on both the person and company levels in Marketo to attributes in Molequle.
FAQ
How can I sync a new field from Marketo to Molequle?
By default, Molequle automatically maps all fields to attributes. To sync a newly created field from Marketo to Molequle, follow these steps:
In the mapping section, click on "Add attribute." This action will open a modal requesting the Marketo resource name (people or companies) and the Marketo API name.
Once you have selected the Marketo resource and API name, you can map the Marketo field to an attribute in Molequle. Activate the "Is active" checkbox to ensure that the new field will be synced to Molequle during the next sync interval.
Please note that Molequle retrieves updated and new data from Marketo, so values for the new mapping may not be immediately visible. If you require a full resync, please reach out to Molequle support for assistance.
What is the purpose of attribute priorities?
Attribute priorities come into play when you have connected multiple systems to Molequle. They facilitate data unification from various sources. For example, if you assign a priority of 100 to an attribute in the Marketo extension and another extension, such as Salesforce, maps to the same attribute with a priority of 110, the unified record in Molequle will prioritise the data from Salesforce due to its higher priority. Attribute priorities are only used in cases of conflicts, where both connected systems provide values for the attribute.
How can I unmap a field and attribute in Molequle?
To remove a previously configured mapping, please contact Molequle support. They will assist you in deleting the mapping and resolving any related issues.
